The studio city Jokes up ice kream has been open since April 2021, but the grand opening on June 17th marked its first public debut of many of the brands in its national stable. It’s a lineup of strain-branding collaborations and exclusives that hasn’t been available in the licensed market before, including DNA from Yung LB and Real 1 and Kool Whip.
Yung LB’s own solo strain, DNA, is a light and smooth smoke that’s easy on the lungs but still delivers a mellow Zaza high. It’s a great choice for those looking to start the day or get through a busy day without feeling overwhelmed by their cannabis. We’ve been lucky enough to visit the Jokes Up cultivation that’s growing DNA and see the buds up close (see our first toke review below) ice kream carts.
Real 1’s curated branded music, merchandise, and
packaging carries the same attention to detail as an authentic street culture
brand should. JR the Director and his team have carved out a path to legitimacy
for legacy operators like Sharklato in Atlanta and Real 1, as well as newcomers
in NYC such as Styles P, Steph V, and Luca Brasi (GUMBO). Their collaboration
with Jokes Up provides an avenue for these brands to make their mark on the
legal market.
Pilar Vargas, better known as Queen Pee, has become a
household name in the cannabis community thanks to her wildly popular and
authentic brands that are quickly gaining popularity around the world. She’s a
master of branding and social media influence, so it’s no surprise that her
strategic partnership with Jokes Up has been an incredible success. Together they’ve
created a unique lineup of differentiated cannabis brands that are winning over
fans and industry players alike.
Jokes up ice kream is more than just a retail outlet,
it’s a cannabis destination that celebrates the essence of street culture
through a collection of authentic and authentic brands. From their high-quality
and diverse product offerings, to their innovative collaborations, Jokes up ice
kream puts street-savvy innovation into every aspect of the cannabis
experience.
